Every August, the St. Albert Food Bank and Community Village (SAFBCV) provide new backpacks filled with school supplies to families who need them. Support agencies have representatives on hand to offer services to participating families.

We’re very grateful for the generosity of the United Way Capital Region for providing the majority of the school supplies. Our families benefit not only from the United Way’s generosity, but also from local supporters, who provide free children’s haircuts, as well as new or gently used children’s clothing.
